ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
In 311 A.D. Constantine and Licinius were co-emperors, the former in the West and the latter in the East. Each one's ambition was to become sole emperor and they pursued their goal by undermining one another. Their strife ended in two wars, one in 314 in Italy and a second one in 323, from which Constantine emerged as victor. |
